Snickerdoodles - Recipe 3

Here's my favorite Snickerdoodle cookie dough. It's CHOCOLATE!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cream tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
Topping...
2 T. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
Directions:
Beat 1 1/2 cups sugar and butter until fluffy. Add flour, cream tartar, soda, salt and cocoa. Mix well. In another bowl combine sugar and cinnamon. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes until set. Remove from cookie sheets immediately.
