Yield: 2 1/2 Dozen Cookies
I am not really an oatmeal cookie fan but I love these cookies. Sometimes I use raisins instead of gumdrops.
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 large egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. rolled oats (regular or quick)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 6-7 ounce package gumdrops
Drop cookies by spoonful onto a greased baking sheet and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Editor's Note: Although these cookies might be perfectly fine with raisins... they truly are quite delicious with gumdrops!
We used a big box of Dots fruit flavored gumdrops (they come in several different flavors).
